We use a state of the art window cleaning system, which is the Thermo Clean system, which is designed for outdoor use. The benefit to the client is that the frames and sills are kept clean, the windows stay cleaner for longer, resulting in less maintenance and repair work on the frames. Another benefit of using this system is that because the windows are sterilised clean with pure hot water they stay cleaner for longer between each clean.
The Thermo Clean system consists of a five stage water treatment system, composite glass carbon fibre water fed poles are used to deliver 100% pure water (heated to 50 degrees celcius) to the window, this means that absolutely no chemicals or detergents are used, conventional window cleaning however leaves sticky soap residues, which attract fresh dirt back to the window.
In simple terms, this is what actually happens. Everyone knows that water is H2O, hydrogen and oxygen, but in fact tap water contains other chemical elements, calcium, chlorine, iron and copper, to name but a few. If you wash windows with untreated tap water and leave it to dry, once the hydrogen and oxygen have evaporated, these chemical and mineral residues are left on the glass leaving streaks and other water marks. The Thermo Clean five stage filtration system removes all chemical and mineral content from the water, and because there is nothing in the water, when the H2O evaporates it leaves nothing behind, except sparkling glass.
